Every two minutes a parent hears the devastating news, “Your child has cancer.” With these words, normal life stops and a difficult new journey begins; a journey that will test families physically, emotionally, socially, and financially.

The “GOLD for HOPE” Fundraising Campaign aims to help fund Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California’s support programs. These vital programs help alleviate the financial and emotional stress our families face during their fight against this life-threatening illness.

   Support Programs Include:

• WE CARE Gift Distribution to hospital patients

• Weekly personal visit from staff to newly diagnosed families
• Weekly Parent Support Meetings
• Emergency Assistance through the provision of: Gas Vouchers, Grocery Vouchers, and Hospital Meal Vouchers
• Bereavement Assistance to help with the cost of funeral arrangements
• Teen Connection: Monthly support meetings provided to adolescents, ages 14-18 years, who have been diagnosed with cancer
• Social support programs that include: Spring Egg Hunt, Family Camp, Picnic, Halloween Party, Christmas Celebration, Candle Lighting Ceremonies,
